THE SOLUTION AND THE ANSWER TO THE CHAOS,July 25, 2023

The keys to victory in the midst of adversity are God’s blessing and favor.

What is God’s blessing?

What is God’s favor?

God equips you. You are a heavily armed soldier in the army of the Lord.

You are loved by the Creator of Heaven and Earth. He has handpicked you for

this moment in time. You have a purpose, and He has an assignment for you.

Ask God to show you your destiny.

He has given you special gifts and talents in order for you to fulfill that calling

He has put

on your life.

God knows the end from the beginning, so trust and lean on Him.

Prayer is a back-and-forth conversation with God.

When you ask God to open your

spiritual ears, it is a still small voice in your spirit.

God’s Word is the ultimate source of truth.

The Blessing of God

Genesis 1:26-28 26 God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after

Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air,

the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.

27 So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.

28 And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth,

and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish

of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.

God’s blessing is an empowerment for you. The blessing began in the beginning. God doesn’t change.

His plans don’t change. The blessing given to Adam and Eve is still relevant and working today.

Verse 26 – authority.

Verse 28 – dominion.

God gave them complete authority and dominion on this Earth. He gave them that blessing (empowerment).

I decree “The blessing is an empowerment in my life right now giving me the ability to prosper,

to succeed, to increase, to multiply, to excel, and to rise above everything that attempts to hold

me back and keep me down.”

Abraham is a great example of the blessing working in his life.

The power of God’s blessing and favor is your key solution and answer to rise above

the chaos in the world today.

Genesis 12:2-3

2 And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and

make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others].

3 And I will bless those who bless you [who confer prosperity or happiness upon you] and [a]curse him who curses or uses insolent language toward you; in you will all the families and kindred of the earth be blessed [and by you they will bless themselves].

God’s blessing and favor are always together.

God blesses your life so that you can be a vessel to distribute that blessing to others.

God’s blessing is empowerment for you to succeed, to excel, to increase, and to rise above

everything that Satan uses to try to keep you back and hold you down.

“Thank you, Lord, that I have Your blessing and favor in my life and that you cause me to rise

above everything my adversary is doing against me.”

Genesis 13:2

2 Now Abram was extremely rich in livestock and in silver and in gold.

In the previous chapter, God blesses Abraham’s life, and in this chapter,
you see the effect of the blessing. God causes Abraham to multiply, excel, and rise above.

Genesis 26:1-4, 12-13

26-1And there was a famine in the land, other than the former famine that was in the days of Abraham.

And Isaac went to Gerar, to Abimelech king of the Philistines.

2 And the Lord appeared to him and said, Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I will tell you.

3 Dwell temporarily in this land, and I will be with you and will favor you with blessings; for to you and

to your descendants I will give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your

father.

4 And I will make your descendants to multiply as the stars of the heavens, and will give to your posterity

all these lands (kingdoms); and by your Offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, or by Him bless themselves,

12 Then Isaac sowed seed in that land and received in the same year a hundred times as much as he had

planted, and the Lord favored him with blessings.

13 And the man became great and gained more and more until he became very wealthy and distinguished;

Don’t follow the world. Things are not how they appear to be. Speak the Word of God. Speak life.

Speak His Words. Receive what God is saying, not what the world is telling you. Don’t live like the world. Don’t expect what the world expects.

Even in the midst of chaos, His blessing (empowerment) will sustain you.

It’s time to decide which you report you believe: the worldly report or God’s report.

God caused Isaac to increase during a famine. God separated Isaac from the rest of the world

because Isaac obeyed (by sowing into the land).

The Favor of God

God’s favor goes before you.

I decree “God’s favor goes before me and opens doors that no man can shut.

It changes rules, regulations, and policies on my behalf.”

God’s blessing and favor make you superior to your circumstances.

God’s favor can do what money can’t do. His favor can do what power can’t do.

His favor can do what seniority and influence can’t do.

No matter what is in the world today, God’s blessing and favor cause you to

rise above anything and anyone in any position because God has the ultimate say.

Exodus 3:19-219 And I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go [unless forced to do so], no, not by a mighty hand.

20 So I will stretch out My hand and smite Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in it;

and after that he will let you go.

21 And I will give this people favor andrespect in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be that when you go, you shall not go empty-handed.

22 But every woman shall [insistently] solicit of her neighbor and of her that may be residing at her house

jewels and articles of silver and gold, and garments, which you shall put on your sons and daughters;

and you shall strip the Egyptians [of belongings due to you].

God’s hand went before the Israelites.

God gave the Israelites favor and respect as they were leaving Egypt.

The Israelites did not leave empty-handed. They left with much more than what they were entitled to. They got all their possessions back, and the possessions of the Egyptians.

God’s favor goes before you, and it restores what has been taken from you.

God’s favor changes situations and resolves them for your good.

His favor is a solution to your problems.

Pray for, ask for, and expect God’s favor.

Then praise and thank Him and stand in agreement with God’s Word.

God’s blessing and favor are empowerments to rise above your enemies.

God’s blessing and favor are empowerments to rise above every situation, test, and trial. He has given you favor over your enemies.

Exodus 3:21 21 And I will give this people favor and respect in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be that when you go, you shall not go empty-handed.

Again, because of God’s favor and blessing going before them, the Israelites didn’t

leave empty-handed.

God’s favor and blessing can turn the worst of times into the best of times.

God’s favor and blessing can change any situation (no matter how bad or how large) in a

day.

Psalm 3:8 8 Salvation belongs to the Lord; May Your blessing be upon Your people. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

God’s blessing is upon you.

Galatians 3:13-14 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written:

“Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”[a] 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through

Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

The blessing is upon you because you received Christ Jesus.

You just need to know God’s empowerment is upon you because you have God’s blessing and favor. You just need to know God has given you the ability to rise above your enemy because His blessing and favor are upon you.

Psalm 41:11 11 By this I know that You favor and delight in me, because my enemy does not triumph over me.

One of the manifestations of God’s blessing and favor is that your enemy will not triumph

over you. You need to receive it.

I thank you, God, that my enemy never triumphs over me, because I have the favor of God.

Empowerment raises you above your enemy. Favor protects you from your enemy.

God can bring light and increase even in the midst of great darkness.

John 17: 13-17 13 And now I am coming to You; I say these things while I am still in the world, so that My joy may

be made full and complete and perfect in them [that they may experience My delight fulfilled in them, that

My enjoyment may be perfected in their own souls, that they may have My gladness within them, filling their hearts].

14 I have given anddelivered to them Your word (message) and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world

[do not belong to the world], just as I am not of the world.

15 I do not ask that You will take them out of the world, but that You will keep and protect them from the evil one.

16 They are not of the world (worldly, belonging to the world), [just] as I am not of the world.

17 Sanctify them [purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, make them holy] by the Truth;

Your Word is Truth.

You are in this world, but you are not of it.

God is telling you to be separate from the world. Don’t live like the world.

Don’t talk like the world. Don’t act like the world. Receive from the Lord. Receive what He has already given you.

Psalm 5:12 12 For You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing

with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor).

His favor surrounds you like a shield.

Ephesians 6:12-18 12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with

physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are]

the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.

13 Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands],

to stand [firmly in your place].

14 Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put

on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God,

15 And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the [a]firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness [b]produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.

16 Lift up over all the [covering] shield of [c]saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one].

17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit [d]wields, which is the Word of God.

18 Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and

entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people).

The armor of God

God stands between you and your enemy. The enemy is not allowed to touch you.

The only person that can take down the hedge of protection is you, with your mouth.

Make sure you are speaking God’s Words.

Prayer

Revelation 3:7-8 To the Church in Philadelphia

7 “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write:

These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David.

What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.

8 I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.

I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.

1 John 4:4 4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than

the one who is in the world.

Psalm 118:17 17 I shall not die but live, and shall declare the works and recount the illustrious acts of the Lord.

God is the God of increase. God’s blessing and favor are the solutions to everything

going on in the world today.

Know the authority you have in Jesus Christ.

His Name is above every name.

You have the Blood Covenant

Genesis 15.15 After these things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying,

Fear not, Abram, I am your [a]Shield, your abundant compensation, and your reward shall be

exceedingly great.

2 And Abram said, Lord God, what can You give me, since I am going on [from this world]

childless and he who shall be the owner and heir of my house is this [steward]

Eliezer of Damascus?

3 And Abram continued, Look, You have given me no child; and [a servant] born in my house is

my heir.

4 And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, This man shall not be your heir, but he

who shall come from your own body shall be your heir.

5 And He brought him outside [his tent into the starlight] and said, Look now toward the heavens

and count the stars—if you are able to number them. Then He said to him, So shall your

descendants be.

6 And he [Abram] believed in (trusted in, relied on, remained steadfast to) the Lord, and

He counted it to him as righteousness (right standing with God).

7 And He said to him, I am the [same] Lord, Who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees to give

you this land as an inheritance.

8 But he [Abram] said, Lord God, by what shall I know that I shall inherit it?

9 And He said to him, Bring to Me a heifer three years old, a she-goat three years old, a ram

three years old, a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

10 And he brought Him all these and cut them down the middle [into halves] and laid each half

opposite the other; but the birds he did not divide.

11 And when the birds of prey swooped down upon the carcasses, Abram drove them away.

12 When the sun was setting, a deep sleep overcame Abram, and a horror

(a terror, a shuddering fear) of great darkness assailed and oppressed him.

13 And [God] said to Abram, Know positively that your descendants will be strangers dwelling

as temporary residents in a land that is not theirs [Egypt], and they will be slaves there and

will be afflicted and oppressed for 400 years.

14 But I will bring judgment on that nation whom they will serve, and afterward they will

come out with great possessions.

15 And you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried at a good old (hoary) age.

16 And in the [b]fourth generation they [your descendants] shall come back here [to Canaan]

again, for the iniquity of the [c]Amorites is not yet full and complete.

17 When the sun had gone down and a [thick] darkness had come on, behold, a smoking oven

and a flaming torch passed between those pieces.

18 On the same day the Lord made a covenant (promise, pledge) with Abram, saying,

To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river Euphrates—

the land of

19 The Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites,

20 The Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim,

21 The Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.

God’s blessing is an empowerment for you to prosper, succeed, excel, increase,

and rise above all that would try to keep you down.

The Word of God is a massively damaging weapon to the enemy.

God is the solution in all situations. He is victory. He is the key to victory.

We have to know what the enemy is doing so we can shout

God’s decrees and declarations against him.

1 Peter 1:8 8 Without having seen Him, you love Him; though you do not [even] now see Him, you believe in Him and

exult and thrill with inexpressible and glorious (triumphant, heavenly) joy.

Jeremiah 31:13 13 Then will the maidens rejoice in the dance, and the young men and old together.

For I will turn their mourning into joy and will comfort them and make them rejoice after their sorrow.

John 16:22 22 So for the present you are also in sorrow (in distress and depressed); but I will see you again and

[then] your hearts will rejoice, and no one can take from you your joy (gladness, delight).

Nehemiah 8:10 10 Then [Ezra] told them, Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet drink, and send portions to

him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. And be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold

God will turn things around.

If you don’t have strength, you can’t fight. Protect your joy.

Habakkuk 1:1-5 1 The burden or oracle (the thing to be lifted up) which Habakkuk the prophet saw.

2 O Lord, how long shall I cry for help and You will not hear? Or cry out to You of violence and

You will not save?

3 Why do You show me iniquity and wrong, and Yourself look upon or cause me to see perverseness and trouble? For destruction and violence are before me; and there is strife, and contention arises.

4 Therefore the law is slackened and justice and a righteous sentence never go forth, for the [hostility of the] wicked surrounds the [uncompromisingly]

righteous; therefore justice goes forth perverted.

5 Look around [you, Habakkuk, replied the Lord] among the nations and see!

And be astonished! Astounded! For I am putting into effect a work in your days [such] that you would

not believe it if it were told you

There is nothing new under the sun. God hears your prayers, even when it seems like
evil is thriving in the open. He knows what’s going on. He will show up. He is the answer. God is going to do something magnificent, something never seen before, something beyond belief. Our God is a supernatural God. He is the super upon (over) the natural (world). He promises to hear

His people and deliver them out of it all. Pride comes before a fall. There is no place too dark and no wall too thick that God’s power,

God’s favor, and God’s grace can’t penetrate. No place too dark – God is light

(1 John 1:5).

5 And this is the message [the message of [a]promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all [[b]no, not in any way].

No wall too thick – Walls of Jericho

(Joshua 6).

6 Now Jericho [a fenced town with high walls] was tightly closed because of the Israelites; no one went out or came in.

2 And the Lord said to Joshua, See, I have given Jericho, its king and mighty men of valor, into your hands.

3 You shall march around the enclosure, all the men of war going around the city once. This you shall do for six days.

4 And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns; and on the seventh day you shall march around the enclosure seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets.

5 When they make a long blast with the ram’s horn and you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the enclosure shall fall down in its place and the people shall go up [over it], every man straight before him.

6 So Joshua son of Nun called the priests and said to them, Take up the ark of the covenant and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the Lord.

7 He said to the people, Go on! March around the enclosure, and let the armed men pass on before the ark of the Lord.

8 When Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns passed on before the Lord and blew the trumpets, and the ark of the covenant of the Lord followed them.

9 The armed men went before the priests who blew the trumpets, and the rear guard came after the ark, the priests blowing the trumpets as they went.

10 But Joshua commanded the people, You shall not shout or let your voice be heard, nor shall any word proceed out of your mouth until the day I tell you to shout. Then you shall shout!

11 So he caused the ark of the Lord to go around the city once; and they came into the camp and lodged in the camp.

12 Joshua rose early in the morning and the priests took up the ark of the Lord.

13 And the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the Lord passed on, blowing the trumpets continually; and the armed men went before them and the rear guard came after the ark of the Lord, the priests blowing the trumpets as they went.

14 On the second day they compassed the city enclosure once and returned to the camp. So they did for six days.

15 On the seventh day they rose early at daybreak and marched around the city as usual, only on that day they compassed the city [a]seven times.

16 And the seventh time, when the priests had blown the trumpets, Joshua said to the people, Shout! For the Lord has given you the city.

17 And the city and all that is in it shall be devoted to the Lord [for destruction]; only Rahab the harlot and all who are with her in her house shall live, because she hid the messengers whom we sent.

18 But you, keep yourselves from the accursed and devoted things, lest when you have devoted it [to destruction], you take of the accursed thing, and so make the camp of Israel accursed and trouble it.

19 But all the silver and gold and vessels of bronze and iron are consecrated to the Lord; they shall come into the treasury of the Lord.

20 So the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. When the people heard the sound of the trumpet, they raised a great shout, and [Jericho’s] wall fell down in its place, so that the [Israelites] went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

21 Then they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, ox, sheep, and donkey, with the edge of the sword.

22 But Joshua said to the two men who had spied out the land, Go into the harlot’s house and bring out the woman and all she has, as you swore to her.

23 So the young men, the spies, went in and brought out Rahab, her father and mother, her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred and set them outside the camp of Israel.

24 And they [b] burned the city with fire and all that was in it; only the silver, the gold, and the vessels of bronze and of iron they put into the treasury of the house of the Lord.

25 So Joshua saved Rahab the harlot, with her father’s household and all that she had; and she lives in Israel even to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.

26 Then Joshua laid this oath on them, Cursed is the man before the Lord who rises up and rebuilds this city, Jericho. With the loss of his firstborn shall he lay its foundation, and with the loss of his youngest son shall he set up its gates.

27 So the Lord was with Joshua, and his fame was in all the land.

Habakkuk 2:16 16 You [yourself] will be filled with shame and contempt instead of glory. Drink also and be like an uncircumcised [heathen]! The cup [of wrath] in the Lord’s right hand will come around to you [O destroyer], and foul shame shall be upon your own glory!

God’s right hand refers to judgment. God’s right hand signifies sovereign power, dominion, and Authority.

Psalm 145:15-19 15 The eyes of all wait for You [looking, watching, and expecting] and You give them their food in due season.

16 You open Your hand and satisfy every living thing with favor.

17 The Lord is [rigidly] righteous in all His ways and gracious and merciful in all His works. 18 The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him sincerely and in truth. 19 He will fulfill the desires of those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him; He also will hear their cry and will save them.

Fear of the Lord means respect for the Lord, putting the Lord first, and reverence for the Lord. Expect the right hand of God to judge the enemy and stop him. God is standing between you and the enemy.

God’s hand provides supernatural, extraordinary, and unusual provision. He will open His hand and satisfy everyone with favor, goodwill, and loving kindness.

God is a God of justice (God’s right hand judges).

God will provide (God’s hand provides provision).

God’s favor can do what money, power, seniority, and influence can’t do. You need the favor of God.

Habakkuk 3:2 2 O Lord, I have heard the report of You and was afraid. O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make [Yourself] known! In wrath [earnestly] remember love, pity, and mercy.

God is a God of mercy.

God is your restorer.

Merciful means compassion, kindness, showing good will, grace, and favor.

Favor is God stepping into one situation to make a worthwhile difference.

God’s favor can change situations and circumstances.

Exodus 3:21 21 And I will give this people favor and respect in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be that when you go, you shall not go empty-handed.

God’s favor will bring you through the worst of times into the best of times.

God is a God of favor and blessing. Favor and blessing show up together.

Psalm 5:12 12 For You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor).

God’s favor is a shield that protects you from your enemy.

You are a joint heir with Christ if you’ve asked him to be your Lord and Savior.

The Creator of Heaven and Earth is on your side. He will surround, protect, and keep you.

God’s favor changes rules, regulations, laws, and policies on your behalf. God’s favor will protect you and change things for the better.

God’s blessing raises you up.

Revelation 3:7-8 7 And to the angel (messenger) of the assembly (church) in Philadelphia write: These are the words of the Holy One, the True One, He Who has the key of David, Who opens and no one shall shut, Who shuts and no one shall open:

8 I know your [record of] works and what you are doing. See! I have set before you a door wide open which no one is able to shut; I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept My Word and guarded My message and have not renounced or denied My name.

Exodus 12:36 36 The Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they gave them what they asked. And they stripped the Egyptians [of those things].

God restores everything that has been stolen.

God will restore and empower you to rise above everything the enemy is doing to you.

God’s favor will shield and protect you. You will come out better on the other side of every situation.

Psalm 31:23 23 O love the Lord, all you His saints! The Lord preserves the faithful, and plentifully pays back him who deals haughtily.

Preserve means to uphold and sustain and keep in a sound state.

God promises to sustain, preserve, and uphold you in all things and circumstances.

God can prosper you no matter what is going on in the world.

In some situations, only the favor of God can get you through.

The favor of God is an act of sparing- keeping you safe, preventing you from going through what everyone else is going through, and not ending up like everyone else.

Psalm 41:11 11 By this I know that You favor and delight in me, because my enemy does not triumph over me.

Because God’s favor is on you, your enemies cannot triumph over you.

Thank you, Father God, that Your favor surrounds me, goes before me, and, therefore, my enemies cannot triumph over me.

Speak God’s Words with authority.

God’s favor will keep you from experiencing defeat and failure.

Ezekiel 34:26 26 And I will make them and the places round about My hill a blessing, and I will cause the showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing [of good insured by God’s favor].

God is showering His people with His blessing and favor.

Shower means sudden downpour, uncontainable, and more than enough.

Malachi 3:10 10 Bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Amos 9:13-15 13 Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine and all the hills shall melt [that is, everything heretofore barren and unfruitful shall overflow with spiritual blessing].

14 And I will bring back the exiles of My people Israel, and they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards and drink the wine from them; they shall also make gardens and eat the fruit of them.

15 And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be torn up out of their land which I gave them, says the Lord your God.

God can change things in a day.

1 John 4:4 4 Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.

You have the Greater One on the inside of you.

God is your protector.

Psalm 37:18-19 18 The Lord knows the days of the upright and blameless, and their heritage will abide forever.

19 They shall not be put to shame in the time of evil; and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

Even in times of famine and lack, God is your provider.

God sustains you and brings you up and out, even better than before.

Philippians 4:19 19 And my God will liberally supply ([a]fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

God is a God of surplus. He is a God of blessing. He is a God of abundance. He is a God of more than enough.

Job 5:20-22 20 In famine He will redeem you from death, and in war from the power of the sword.

21 You shall be hidden from the scourge of the tongue, neither shall you be afraid of destruction when it comes.

22 At destruction and famine you shall laugh, neither shall you be afraid of the living creatures of the earth.

Get rid of fear, doubt, and worry.

John 14:15-17 15 If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.

16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever—

17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.

Even in the darkest days, God is preparing you to remember Who dwells on the inside of you. He is preparing you to rise above every situation. He is shielding you with His favor.

Job 22:28 28 You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God’s favor] shall shine upon your ways.

Declare and decree the favor and blessing of God to establish it in your life.

Resist the devil. Decreeing God’s Word makes the devil powerless.

God’s favor goes before you and protects and preserves you.

God’s favor changes the impossible.

Psalm 147:5 5 Great is our Lord and of great power; His understanding is inexhaustible and boundless.

Nothing surprises God. There is nothing His power cannot accomplish, and His power lives on the inside of you.

2 Corinthians 2:14 14 But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ’s victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere,

God always causes you to triumph.

God includes you as a partner in His endless triumph.

You are partners with the Most High God, Who has never been defeated.

Be in the Word of God every day.

Nothing can overcome you if you know Whose you are and who you are in Christ.

Know the authority you have in Jesus Christ. His Name is above every name.

You have the Blood Covenant

(Genesis 15) The Lord’s Covenant With Abram

15 After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision:

“Do not be afraid, Abram.
I am your shield,[a]
your very great reward.[b]”

2 But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit[c] my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3 And Abram said, “You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir.”

4 Then the word of the Lord came to him: “This man will not be your heir, but a son who is your own flesh and blood will be your heir.” 5 He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring[d] be.”

6 Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

7 He also said to him, “I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to take possession of it.”

8 But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, how can I know that I will gain possession of it?”

9 So the Lord said to him, “Bring me a heifer, a goat and a ram, each three years old, along with a dove and a young pigeon.”

10 Abram brought all these to him, cut them in two and arranged the halves opposite each other; the birds, however, he did not cut in half. 11 Then birds of prey came down on the carcasses, but Abram drove them away.

12 As the sun was setting, Abram fell into a deep sleep, and a thick and dreadful darkness came over him. 13 Then the Lord said to him, “Know for certain that for four hundred years your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own and that they will be enslaved and mistreated there. 14 But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves, and afterward they will come out with great possessions. 15 You, however, will go to your ancestors in peace and be buried at a good old age. 16 In the fourth generation your descendants will come back here, for the sin of the Amorites has not yet reached its full measure.”

17 When the sun had set and darkness had fallen, a smoking firepot with a blazing torch appeared and passed between the pieces. 18 On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi[e] of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates— 19 the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, 20 Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, 21 Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites.”

God’s blessing is an empowerment for you to prosper, succeed, excel, increase, and rise above all that would try to keep you down.

The Word of God is a massively damaging weapon to the enemy.

God is the solution in all situations. He is victory. He is the key to victory.

We have to know what the enemy is doing so we can shout God’s decrees and declarations against him.

1 Peter 1:8 8 Without having seen Him, you love Him; though you do not [even] now see Him, you believe in Him and exult and thrill with inexpressible and glorious (triumphant, heavenly) joy.

Jeremiah 31:13 13 Then will the maidens rejoice in the dance, and the young men and old together. For I will turn their mourning into joy and will comfort them and make them rejoice after their sorrow.

John 16:22 22 So for the present you are also in sorrow (in distress and depressed); but I will see you again and [then] your hearts will rejoice, and no one can take from you your joy (gladness, delight).

Nehemiah 8:10 10 Then [Ezra] told them, Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet drink, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. And be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold.

Or cry out to You of violence and You will not save?

3 Why do You show me iniquity and wrong, and Yourself look upon or cause me to see perverseness and trouble? For destruction and violence are before me; and there is strife, and contention arises.

4 Therefore the law is slackened and justice and a righteous sentence never go forth, for the [hostility of the] wicked surrounds the [uncompromisingly] righteous; therefore justice goes forth perverted.

5 Look around [you, Habakkuk, replied the Lord] among the nations and see! And be astonished! Astounded! For I am putting into effect a work in your days [such] that you would not believe it if it were told you.

There is nothing new under the sun. God hears your prayers, even when it seems like evil is thriving in the open. He knows what’s going on. He will show up. He is the answer.

God is going to do something magnificent, something never seen before, something beyond belief.

Our God is a supernatural God. He is the super upon (over) the natural (world). He promises to hear His people and deliver them out of it all.

Pride comes before a fall.

There is no place too dark and no wall too thick that God’s power, God’s favor, and God’s grace can’t penetrate.

No place too dark – God is light (1 John 1:5). 5 And this is the message [the message of [a]promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all [[b]no, not in any way].

No wall too thick – Walls of Jericho (Joshua 6). 6 Now the gates of Jericho were securely barred because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in.

2 Then the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. 3 March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. 4 Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. 5 When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.” 6 So Joshua son of Nun called the priests and said to them, “Take up the ark of the covenant of the Lord and have seven priests carry trumpets in front of it.” 7 And he ordered the army, “Advance! March around the city, with an armed guard going ahead of the ark of the Lord.” 8 When Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests carrying the seven trumpets before the Lord went forward, blowing their trumpets, and the ark of the Lord’s covenant followed them. 9 The armed guard marched ahead of the priests who blew the trumpets, and the rear guard followed the ark. All this time the trumpets were sounding. 10 But Joshua had commanded the army, “Do not give a war cry, do not raise your voices, do not say a word until the day I tell you to shout. Then shout!” 11 So he had the ark of the Lord carried around the city, circling it once. Then the army returned to camp and spent the night there. 12 Joshua got up early the next morning and the priests took up the ark of the Lord. 13 The seven priests carrying the seven trumpets went forward, marching before the ark of the Lord and blowing the trumpets. The armed men went ahead of them and the rear guard followed the ark of the Lord, while the trumpets kept sounding. 14 So on the second day they marched around the city once and returned to the camp. They did this for six days.

15 On the seventh day, they got up at daybreak and marched around the city seven times in the same manner, except that on that day they circled the city seven times. 16 The seventh time around, when the priests sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the army, “Shout! For the Lord has given you the city! 17 The city and all that is in it are to be devoted[a] to the Lord. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall be spared, because she hid the spies we sent. 18 But keep away from the devoted things, so that you will not bring about your own destruction by taking any of them. Otherwise you will make the camp of Israel liable to destruction and bring trouble on it. 19 All the silver and gold and the articles of bronze and iron are sacred to the Lord and must go into his treasury.” 20 When the trumpets sounded, the army shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the men gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so everyone charged straight in, and they took the city. 21 They devoted the city to the Lord and destroyed with the sword every living thing in it—men and women, young and old, cattle, sheep and donkeys. 22 Joshua said to the two men who had spied out the land, “Go into the prostitute’s house and bring her out and all who belong to her, in accordance with your oath to her.” 23 So the young men who had done the spying went in and brought out Rahab, her father and mother, her brothers and sisters and all who belonged to her. They brought out her entire family and put them in a place outside the camp of Israel. 24 Then they burned the whole city and everything in it, but they put the silver and gold and the articles of bronze and iron into the treasury of the Lord’s house. 25 But Joshua spared Rahab the prostitute, with her family and all who belonged to her, because she hid the men Joshua had sent as spies to Jericho—and she lives among the Israelites to this day. 26 At that time Joshua pronounced this solemn oath: “Cursed before the Lord is the one who undertakes to rebuild this city, Jericho:

“At the cost of his firstborn son
he will lay its foundations;
at the cost of his youngest
he will set up its gates.”

27 So the Lord was with Joshua, and his fame spread throughout the land.

In wrath [earnestly] remember love, pity, and mercy

Psalm 37:18-19 8 The Lord knows the days of the upright and blameless, and their heritage will abide forever.

John 14:15-17 5 If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.

16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever— 17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him.

You have the Blood Covenant (Genesis 15).

15 After these things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram, I am your [a]Shield, your abundant compensation, and your reward shall be exceedingly great.

2 And Abram said, Lord God, what can You give me, since I am going on [from this world] childless and he who shall be the owner and heir of my house is this [steward] Eliezer of Damascus?

3 And Abram continued, Look, You have given me no child; and [a servant] born in my house is my heir.

4 And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, This man shall not be your heir, but he who shall come from your own body shall be your heir.

5 And He brought him outside [his tent into the starlight] and said, Look now toward the heavens and count the stars—if you are able to number them. Then He said to him, So shall your descendants be.

6 And he [Abram] believed in (trusted in, relied on, remained steadfast to) the Lord, and He counted it to him as righteousness (right standing with God).

7 And He said to him, I am the [same] Lord, Who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees to give you this land as an inheritance.

8 But he [Abram] said, Lord God, by what shall I know that I shall inherit it?

10 And he brought Him all these and cut them down the middle [into halves] and laid each half opposite the other; but the birds he did not divide.

11 And when the birds of prey swooped down upon the carcasses, Abram drove them away.

12 When the sun was setting, a deep sleep overcame Abram, and a horror (a terror, a shuddering fear) of great darkness assailed and oppressed him.

13 And [God] said to Abram, Know positively that your descendants will be strangers dwelling as temporary residents in a land that is not theirs [Egypt], and they will be slaves there and will be afflicted and oppressed for 400 years. [Fulfilled in Exod. 12:40.]

14 But I will bring judgment on that nation whom they will serve, and afterward they will come out with great possessions.

15 And you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried at a good old (hoary) age.

16 And in the [b]fourth generation they [your descendants] shall come back here [to Canaan] again, for the iniquity of the [c]Amorites is not yet full and complete.

17 When the sun had gone down and a [thick] darkness had come on, behold, a smoking oven and a flaming torch passed between those pieces.

18 On the same day the Lord made a covenant (promise, pledge) with Abram, saying, To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river Euphrates—the land of

19 The Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites,

20 The Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim,

21 The Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.

God’s blessing is an empowerment for you to prosper, succeed, excel, increase, and rise above all that would try to keep you down.

The Word of God is a massively damaging weapon to the enemy.

God is the solution in all situations. He is victory. He is the key to victory.

No wall too thick – Walls of Jericho (Joshua 6).6 Now the gates of Jericho were securely barred because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in.

2 Then the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. 3 March around the city once with all the armed men. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. 5 When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.”

6 So Joshua son of Nun called the priests and said to them, “Take up the ark of the covenant of the Lord and have seven priests carry trumpets in front of it.” 7 And he ordered the army, “Advance! March around the city, with an armed guard going ahead of the ark of the Lord.”

8 When Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests carrying the seven trumpets before the Lord went forward, blowing their trumpets, and the ark of the Lord’s covenant followed them. 9 The armed guard marched ahead of the priests who blew the trumpets, and the rear guard followed the ark. Otherwise you will make the camp of Israel liable to destruction and bring trouble on it. 19 All the silver and gold and the articles of bronze and iron are sacred to the Lord and must go into his treasury.”

20 When the trumpets sounded, the army shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the men gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so everyone charged straight in, and they took the city.

“At the cost of his firstborn son
he will lay its foundations;
at the cost of his youngest
he will set up its gates.”

27 So the Lord was with Joshua, and his fame spread throughout the land.

Habakkuk 2:16 6 You [yourself] will be filled with shame and contempt instead of glory.

See! I have set before you a door wide open which no one is able to shut; I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept My Word and guarded My message and have not renounced or denied My name
